Soon they are knee deep into the opening battles of the war that is to be forged to win the last stronghold they need in order to create a united Thalyria. Then off to the ice plains Cat and Griffith go to seek the magic that Cat needs in order to confront and defeat her mother. Fortunately, it does have a silver lining in revealing some long-hidden truths to Cat, as well as taking her further on her path to self-discovery.įirst to the Ippotane to seek protection for their new borders sealing that alliance with Cat’s sister and the Ippotane alpha. Poor Griffith and Kaia, both of whom witness this event in heartbreak. Piers unexpectedly calls upon Ares to take Cat away and free his brother and family from her influence. The first comes shortly after the story opens when Cat and Griffith encounter his brother and sister on the road. ![]() ![]() This last book in the series continues in the same intense vein, as they face new and different challenges.
